Hugh Laurie to play Mycroft.

Hugh Laurie is all set to play Mycroft in the latest comedy film Holmes & Watson.

Reading the news made me smile as I always expected a possible Holmes movie announcement with Hugh Laurie at some point. He would have made a great Holmes by looking at the way he played Dr.House.

The opportunity however has passed. Now this is the best case scenario that could happen. If he has enough screen space he will nail the role as Mycroft Holmes.

Can't wait to see him in action...
